Good tidings, friends. Today’s update may seem a bit bleak. But, I think it’s wise to examine the possibility of a future vastly different from the present.
First, a new UN report warns that time is running out to ensure there is enough food, water and fuel to meet the needs of the world’s rapidly growing population. Within the next 20 years the world’s population will need 50 per cent more food and vast new reserves of energy and water.
Of course, this should come as no surprise to those of you who watched this video I posted the other day. If you haven’t seen it, you should. Just don’t panic. That won’t get you anywhere.
Today, I came across another video in which two people discuss many of the issues the corporate media chooses to ignore:
Unfortunately, here in the US, tent cities continue to sprout and linger. Ketchup soup and rats are what’s for dinner in some really poor areas. Reform? Ha! Our electoral system is beyond farce. Until we fix it, things will continue to get worse. Unless, of course, you’re rich. In that case, things will continue to get better.
Sad, and grim, yes. Too much doom and gloom is bad for you, me, or anyone. Want a hug?
Okay, enough of this. I sincerely hope you are happy and healthy, and wish you peace and prosperity. Don’t get depressed, and don’t freak out. There is plenty of love in the world, and plenty that can be done. We just need to cut out the crap.
